about

Every song comes with its own unique artwork.

Polar Wolf is my 2011 project. It was written at the peak of my drug addiction, perhaps you can tell. I didn’t realise it at the time, but listening back so much of the album is obviously about drugs and the effects they were having on my physical health. It was a dark time, but all is well. I got clean early 2012, and I’ve remained 100% clean and sober for 7 years now.

Even though I put it out as a solo thing it feels like more of a band effort - members of Stock Exchange and Civik Parc contributed. Unlike most of my releases where I did everything myself, this was a very collaborative process. It was a lot of fun, even though it doesn't sound like it.
